OUR LATEST ACTIVITIES
It's always a joy to see our alumni climb the Entrepreneurship ladder. A case in point is Zabibu Issa who was trained in the 7th batch of our young mothers project and now runs a successful hardware business in Dar Es Salaam. Here she is seen signing a visitors book when she paid a courtesy call at EBLI office.
Today was not only a special day for the 51 students, most of them young mothers, who came to school to celebrate their graduation, but also for their parents, caretakers and friends as well as for the entire staff of Education for Better Living Organization (EBLI). The students showed a various program of skits, dances and even a fashion show and listened to the words of their teachers SongYi Yoo and Salome. EBLI's Executive Director, Mr. Bernard Alban Makachia, congratulated them in a powerful speech and also our guest of honor appreciated the success of these young women and men highly in his warm speech. It was not easy for all of them, to get their certificates today. They took part in program, that requires attendance in class every day - besides work and taking care for one or more children. We are incredible proud of all of them and wish them all the best in life. Those, who will take part in other programs EBLI is offering, we will accompany on their way.
