Young people and their teachers are attending the second phase of "Youth Choose Life" workshop at EBLI offices. This week long workshop is meant to capacitate them with skills and attitudes of working with their peers in the school clubs in their respective schools.

Lucy Metha and Elizabeth John were facilitating a two day business refresher course for young mothers who have opted to self employee themselves. The aim of the training was to share challenges and how to overcome them by using a Solution Focused Approach. 55 young mothers took part in the course at EBLI.

What a great pleasure to all of us - students, teachers, staff members - to welcome guests from Maryknoll Lay Missioners from the United States today at EBLI. We had the pleasure to share with them information about our programs and some of the students introduced themselves, mentioning their goals and why EBLI plays such an important role in their lives. For sure, it was a challenging but great opportunity to hold a speech in English in front of native English speakers!
