On this day, the FAB group visited the ministry of Maryknoll Lay Missioner, Michael Leen, who runs the Young Mothers Entrepreneurship and Group Enterprise project at EBLI. It was a chance for these guests to see and understand the work that Michael is doing, get a glimpse of all EBLI projects, and interact with a large number of young mothers.
In particular, six young mothers who have already passed through Young Mothers Computer Literacy and Young Mothers Entrepreneurship and Group Enterprise addressed an audience of their peers currently studying computers, as well as the FAB guests. Each of these six young mothers gave a brief testimony or story of their life: how they became pregnant, how that felt, impact on their life and in the community, how they have benefitted from EBLI, activities they are currently doing, and a chance to provide some guidance for their peer young mothers.
The FAB guests from the United States had a wonderful time, and we hope to welcome another group in August 2016.
