A one-day leadership workshop was conducted by the two co-facilitators of employment and entrepreneurship training – Michael Leen and Lucy Metha – and attended by 35 young mothers from Batch 10 who most recently completed EBLI computer literacy, BCP, employment and entrepreneurship training. This leadership workshop aimed to build the leadership capabilities of young people through hands-on experiential exercises/games, individual writing assignments, simulations, group challenges and self-reflection. Specifically, the training focused on improving the participants’ self-confidence, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making. Both morning tea and afternoon lunch were served for the benefit all participants.
